Duration 3 h. Max participants: 6 persons.
Target audience:
Everyone working and moving on roofs: Construction industry, snow cleaners, maintenance, chimney sweepers etc.
Goal:
Refresh the topics learned at Roofing Base training. Learn to operate safely also on steep roofs and areas where there are no existing anchor points available. Suitable also as the training for difficult access roofs.
Content:
-Creation of anchor points from ropes when there are no existing anchors available
-Setting up lifelines
-Safe movement on steep roofs and close to roof edges
-Basics of 2-rope techniques
-Basic rescue plan
-Basic self-rescue and partner rescue
Additional information:
Prerequisite for attendance: Roofing Basics training (VD6916BT) completed.
Available in Finnish and English.
Can be organized at the end customer’s facility or at our training center in Helsinki.
Price includes the use of all PPE needed in the training.
Participants will receive a certificate which identifies the workers skills to perform work tasks at height.
Circumstances where fall protection PPE are required are demanding. Therefore we recommend refreshing the training every 12 months.
The following manufacturers PPE will be used in the training: Beal, CT - Climbing Technology, Ikar.
Possible kilometer allowance 0.6 €/km and overnight accommodation fee will be added to the training cost.
