1_SPM420_GVS_Elipse_Pre_Fi.png 		Pre-filter and holder combination kit for use on top of GVS Elipse Low Profile half mask respirator combination filters. These pre-filters, which effectively filter the particles, are placed on top of the actual filters and locked in place with the pre-filter holders. Extends the life of the actual P3 particle filters substantially in dusty conditions. The package includes a pair of elastic holders and 10 pre-filters (2 x 5). Easy and quick to change. Increases the weight of a single filter only with 6 g.

For more information on where a pre-filter is needed: 
If the particle filter in the combined filter P3 becomes clogged with particles before the gas-protective activated carbon filter is at the end of its service life, only the particulate filter can be replaced and the user does not have to change the actual filter of his half mask. In some work tasks, this can have a very significant effect on both work efficiency and the total cost of respiratory protection over the long run. It may be necessary to add a P3 particulate filter temporarily to a gas filter for some temporary work, in order to achieve the most cost-effective and functional system.
